Hello,
We are designing a 30W Buck LED driver, Vin = 400V,  VLED = 260V.
We are using a Buck converter with a high-side NFET. (as in the attached schematic and also the LTspice simulation.)
Rather than use a gate drive transformer to drive the high side NFET, we are going to use an NXJ1S1212MC isolated DCDC power module to provide a high-side bias supply, from which the high side NFET can be driven (via a digital isolator).

…the only reason for doing this, ..is because we are already using the  NXJ1S1212MC isolated DCDC power module in another one of our products (for a completely different application).
The problem will come if this DCDC module goes obsolete. There are others available, but none have the advantageously low isolation capacitance that the NXJ1S1212MC has.
What do you think are the chances of the NXJ1S1212MC going obsolete in the next 5 years?  :scared:
