« on: October 07, 2013, 11:34:50 pm »
I need some custom flat plate parts cut out on a CNC machine, does anyone know a good place to do this in lower quantites?

Also making a custom stepper motor mounting adapter in Q<10

Search for 'laser cutting service'. I recently had some plastic cut. I used A9CAD (free) to produce the DXF file.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

Have you tried a local auto part fab shop?

Mike of MikeElectricStuff suggested getting plates made up by a PCB fab.  They are accustom to small quantity and odd shapes with holes.
Before this, there was a typo.

Local machine shops usually have a fab shop that they can make what you need if you have the planes.  You will pay $40-100 usd per hour.  you can also look at emachineshop.com .
