HIP4081 Charge Pump Diode Reverse voltage?
« on: October 29, 2022, 04:32:07 am »
Hi
Does anyone know what reverse voltage is applied to the charge pump diodes in an HIP4080/HIP4081?
I plan to drive a bipolar motor load with 48VDC.

The reason I am asking is because I only want to use one type of diode for all circuitry.  I want that to be a Schottky diode, with only 40VDC max reverse voltage.
If I have to, I would just use a vanilla silicon diode, but that would add to the BOM line count.
