That is a good question. I actually put the function into the firmware to be able to save and restore the current position, but to me it looks like that if you do a survey, then the TruePosition saves the coordinates itself and will reload it after poweron without any additional effort.
Otherwise it will acquire a fix anyway, even if you do not issue a survey mode. It will eventually lock. Besides, anytime I can issue a new survey.
Still needs to be verified if and how much this affects accuracy.
The firmware keeps track of uptime and last lock time, so in case of power outage this can be detected.
However, you just gave me an idea to show on the status whether a survey was performed since the last poweron, as that would definiteley indicate if we are using the most accurate location.
