EICO Model 460 Custom Computer
« on: March 27, 2019, 10:57:44 pm »
Hi Everyone,

I recently converted an EICO Model 460 Oscilloscope into a custom computer and thought I would post pictures of the completed work here.
When I first started this project, some members of this forum answered questions for me on the disassembly, which I found extremely useful and helped me not get electrocuted :D

Original Oscilloscope

After I started the project, I decided to add a base to the main box.
The base started out looking like this:

Completed Project

Specs

Motherboard:  Asus H270M-Plus
CPU:              Intel i7 7700k
Memory:        Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR4
Graphics:       EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW
Storage:        Toshiba/OCZ 500 GB M.2 NVMe (Windows Drive)
Storage:        Crucial MX500 1TB M.2 SATA (Storage Drive)

If you would like to see a full detailed work log, you can check it out here:

Thanks :)
