I want to drive two LED's series connected
BXRC-30E1000-B-03. The maximum potential could go as high as 62VDC there will be OVP 67VDCmax. I would like to just use phase change material as thermal interface material. This provides no isolation between the heatsink and the case. What are the standards for safety for isolated 60VDC > for this sort of application?
I can think of several ways to make it safe analog sensing of the current high and low-side, diiference amp then a comparator flip a PFET disconnecting the output like a solid state RCD. Make the return lead not easily accesible so it's impossible to complete the circuit with your body. I know they need double insulation when using non-isolated line powered drivers but what about isolated greater then 60VDC OUT?
EDIT Scratch the RCD wouldn't work after some thought.
