looking for manufacturer or supplier of this part

Hi guys, an engineer at work has shown me this thermostat that he has got from somewhere and wants to know where we can buy them, pictures attched, if anyone knows anything about these units please can you let me know. if he has the right end of the stick it's an automotive thermostat with and externally connected pot and sensor

Lots of mystery in the atmosphere ..  

Any way , there is some manufacturers that they do small refrigerators ,
mostly for trucks and wheelhouses .

I bet my bubblegum , that its some sort of unique design for such use.

You will not find data that easy, its probably listed in their service manual , but not publicly.

it has to do with the Greek word of "philosophize".

Now you have two choices , built your own , or build your own ..

well if the guy has his facts straight it's for a vehicles air conditioning system, a potentiometer plugs into it for regulation

nah, but we are looking for a proper supplier to supply new ones in quantity, I think he wants to replace some old thermostats with it

Ok , suggestion for another approach  ..

Take it apart , and see if you can copy it ..

The automotive industry , does not use standard parts, always they cooking their parts,
so no one to be able to offer an after-market solution.  

And basically its all about quantity , how many he needs ?  
If its less than 100 , it does not worth to bother.

we have opened it, being a thermostat there's not a lot to it. We are not an electronics company and they obviously won't make use of my talents so he wants to find where we can buy this off the shelf. If they were willing to make their own electronics I'd be earning 4X what I am now
