Hello

I have a cable with Amphenol 62IN-16F-22-55S circular plug (holes so its female) on it.
https://www.mouser.co.za/ProductDetail/Amphenol/62IN16F2255S/?qs=%2fha2pyFadugzcds1OeAjEgNqYHnetwp7Alc4NUvwT%2f2ytTioJZdCVA%3d%3d

I am looking for the associated PCB mount circular connector with pins. Boy o boy am I struggling. I cannot find the correct documentation, specifically footprint information. To make things worse there are many Amphenol connector sites.

I think I need this connector. https://www.mouser.co.za/ProductDetail/Amphenol/71-570128-55P/?qs=%2fha2pyFadugwHLgsw06ERjlHPesf5EDuMWOAEuewO%252b0%3d
But I am unsure. The datasheet with the mouser link above gives no information on the footprint. See page 20 (search for 71-570128-xxx) http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/18/12-070-180554.pdf

I found this document.
http://www.amphenol.co.jp/military/catalog/PT_MB.pdf   Page 26 shows a connector which look like what I have in mind. I can't read Japanese. I am not sure if it is the same as the 71-570128-55P above.

Also found this document.
http://www.amphenol-aerospace.com/pdf/catalogs/PCB_Catalog.pdf   On page 160 it gives a drawing that looks like my contact arrangement that I will need but there is no dimensional information.

Can someone please tell me what connector will go with a 62IN-16F-22-55S circular plug (holes so its female) on it.

I have also attached a picture of what I think the connector should look like. I dont care if it is box/panel mount or jam nut type.

Thanks
Cicada

In the world of Mil-Std-connectors, refer back to the original Standard whereever possible.
But the PCB contacts are somewhat special.

NO 26482 connector will intermate with any 38999 connector!
The 'PCB variants catalogue' that you have are the PCB variants of 38999 only, so anything in this catalogue is not applicable.

ALL MIL-C-26482 Series 1 and Series 2 will intermate.
62IN is a Indian Armed Forces subset of MIL-C-26482 (or MIL-DTL, doesn't matter)
IN62 interfaces with any other 26482-type.
Neither of the above Standards does cover PCB interfacing. But they are available.

Get Amphenol catalogue 12-070, Page 20 or Amphenol catalogue 12-170, Page 41
Also fully applicable is Glenair's IPT range, which you find at
https://www.glenair.com/bayonet_lock_connectors/c.htm
The sub-catalogue (IPT 02 Y) is attached.

Detoronics has parts fitting your requirement at
http://www.detoronics.com/products/DFC_MIL-DTL-26482_Flex_Circuit_Tail.html

You will note that the parts listed do not have a MS-number, as they are not parts used BY the military, but FOR the military. Another option is to get the 62IN connector and look at MILNEC, Hypertac, ITT Cannon or Amphenol for PCB contacts with a fitting standoff length, but then the Series within 26482 is no longer carefree, as the retaining mechanisms for the contacts are different. If trying such a thing, you have to look very carefully at the parts.

And there are more manufacturers. ITT Cannon calls them KPT, KPSE and PV, Aero Electric Connectors AE77, Look for full 26482-compatibility, then for the PCB interface to suit your needs, select a 10-6 P type (shell size 10, layout 6x#20, PIN) and the odds are good.

Sorry, misread the type (pinout) you are looking for. Of course, forget about the 10-6 but use 22-55 (size 22, 55x#20).
This happened because of Mouser-website.

And yes, the type you found is correct.
