Hi!

I'm looking for a decent project write–up for a bench–sized universal NiCd/NiMH/Lithium battery tester/charger – I do remember coming across one about three years ago but I can't remember where I found it – I think it was PIC based and had a character 1602 LCD!

(NO stupid Arduino rubbish or Chinese modules please – they don't work and I'm fed up trying to unravel shitty code or turf out blown up Chinese specials – at least a project using a PIC is far less likely to have "bugs" or "howlers" in the code as authors won't want to commit to programming unless it works!)

It's an enigma that's what it is!! This thing's not fixed because it doesn't want to be fixed!!

This doesnt answer the question, but its just a suggestion - for £25 you could have a  brilliant charger and put your own efforts into something more rewarding  ;)

My own Q6 has been in constant use for three years now, highly recommended.    [I know, I know, I'll get back in my box now...]
