Sooo.... what?
I'd rather watch crackpot HAARP videos. At east those are entertaining.
Oh come on, it's certainly entertaining...
No, it isn't. How much fucking time do we need to spend watching someone fidget with an LED? Especialkly when we already know where it's going.
Someone knows how to use a video editor. Whoopdee fucking doo.
Is not video editing. He has other challenges and videos with the solution:
Exactly, it's not just entertaining but very clever too.
(having said that, I have no clue about this one yet)
So he's modifies some parts to use induction.
The video is still boring as hell.

Note the paper, it has a bending below when he moves the camera, see at 03:32 and again at 03:40. An embedded circuit maybe. For sure the battery and connector are also modified.
He modifies the LEDs (fake bottoms, it's visible they're much taller than normal), probably a coil and a photo sensitive something on the side of the leds... switches have infrared emitter and a watch battery inside.
Wouldn't be surprised to find out there's a plastic/mylar foil with inductor coils printed on it between two pieces of cardboard.
I agree, the secret must be in the paper. The battery cap has some kind of oscillator that powers something that is hidden in the paper. Still very clever made!

Well thought! About the coils, I'm almost sure he has some between those sheets of paper. A magnet/coupler below the battery also.
Haha that's awesome. A bit of a spoiler in the YouTube comments, unfortunately, as he partially confirms someones theory. Ah well. Still fun and still part mystery. I wonder how many of these could be made... without getting to crazy complicated.
Oh yes, there is a uC on this LED doing voice recognization.
