using an MDAC vs a regular DC at adjust voltage amplitude...

I was looking to adjust the amplitude a 350khz sinewave signal....Digitpots seem way to frequency limited unless I pick a lower resistance version. DAC seem to be frequency limited on the verf as well, although not a badly as digipots...does this mean I have to go the MDAC route for frequencies above say 100khz? Or am I just searching digikey the wrong way and need to search deeper? I have no issue using  MDACs, just rather not have to deal with the output amp (trying to use the least number of parts possible).

You can use an MDAC, or PGA if you want digital control of the amplitude. A VGA amplifier e.g. AD8336 (one of many) gives you analog control of the amplitude, depends on what you want.
