Bridge rectifier with selectable output polarity
« on: May 25, 2014, 03:02:29 pm »
I need a bridge rectifier block whose polarity can be chosen by a control signal.

I came up with the following circuit.

I would like to know if there is an alternative method for this.

An H-bridge works. Save one set of rectifiers.
