Asteroid Impact Warning Device

Know when to panic! 🌎🌠😱

I built a device to warn of potential Earth-threatening asteroids. It monitors NASA JPL’s Sentry web service using a Raspberry Pi Pico W and CircuitPython.

Or you could turn it into a relaxation helper:

Let a big *green* light blink up each minute if the number of asteroids has not increased.

You will instantanously be relaxed knowing:
- Your wifi is working
- The city has power
- NASA has their servers running
- Theres no DOS-attack on your internet
- civilization is still there  ::)

Most folks are more likely to encounter Hemmroid Impacts.
Collector and repairer of vintage and not so vintage electronic gadgets and test equipment. What's the difference between a pizza and a musician? A pizza can feed a family of four!! Classically trained guitarist. Sound engineer.

This needs a:
There will be plenty of PANIC the first time this thing goes off in the middle of the night.  :D It makes quite a loud red-alert sound.
