pwm controller for a soldering iron
« on: April 27, 2020, 11:23:57 am »
Hi all,i would just like your views on this idea,Due to the lockdown stuck at home with hardly any of my lools,my solder station is with them!,in the meantime i have this iron but no controller :https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Soldering-station-iron-handle-24V-For-936-ESD-937-928-926-852-852D-R/153308326131?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
im using it from a homebrew psu,it works fine but as there is no control it gets way too hot!,would one of these work to aler the temp?: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-24V-36V-Pulse-Width-PWM-DC-3A-Motor-Speed-Regulator-Controller-Switch-I2A7/184112843172?epid=1969130781&hash=item2addfb09a4:g:DFYAAOSw-a5eEIBz
its just untill i can get my tools back.,cheers.m3vuv
