I'd like to also offer my thanks for the wonderful videos he has created.

I have seen some negative comments posted related to his videos and was concerned he may have taken them to heart. Sometimes we put so much effort into a pursuit that a little piece of ourselves is also included. This can make the blade of criticism all the sharper and be quite disheartening.

Unfortunately it's true.
You can have the most loyal fan base possible, but once you hit a certain viewership you get more outliers on the bell curve and the hate and detractors become guaranteed.
