If you were addressing me ... for the time being that would be OK.

I can update and post in the thread (like I did with my test above) and if ez24 comes along, then they can just copy the code from a "QUOTE" action and dump it in the original post.

Have a look at my test - Reply #147

Easiest way to grab the stuff that matters is to do a "QUOTE" on it and remove the first and last lines...

I hope I do not have to export and edit and import.

I've set it up so that you make changes in the spreadsheet and save it on your computer for next time.

All you have to do to get the result into the post is to do a single copy and paste.

And don't worry about the "latest version" being held on your private computer out of our reach ... it will be posted here and easily extracted if need be.

The CRs are back.

I put them there.

(My spreadsheet needs a bit more work ... it doesn't handle inserting data rows properly.  It's fixable.)

You're still great with BB code stuff (I remember the help you gave to supporters in "Advanced forum postings.. How to do it" back in Jan)

I put CRs at the end of each line.  They are there for me.

Or did you have CRs more frequently...?   Ah - I can see how that makes sense ... and it will still render OK.

Updated spreadsheet.  Handles row inserts on DATA tab.

I built my table from the original post of this thread as of today ... so that is probably the case.

Thanks

I will give this a try when Cliff sends me his new list.  Also I will see if I can find some links in the Primer topic.

Thanks again for all your help.  It has made this list a possibility   :-+

This is the new addition in the test, from the Primer topic:

6   Misc      Jim Pytel   Basic electronics, hydraulics, electrical machines, control electronics

Brumby :

Can you add the header and footer to the spreadsheet.    In the spreadsheet (BBCODE) I hit  CT-A then CT-C   but I do not know where to paste in the original.  I want to be able to CT-A in the original and hit delete to delete the whole thing.  Then paste all of the spreadsheet into the text editor.  I hope it is not too much trouble.

thanks

Can do.

It will take a little fiddling so as to not interfere with the table.  I will get onto it.

I added

=====================================================================================

to the list to make it easy for me to find where to insert your data

so it is not necessary for you to add the header and footer

I did not know there were 2,000 rows

thanks

That will work.     :)

I did have fun putting header/footer ideas together.  I had the process pretty much sorted, but it's easier the way you have done it.

I'd set the formulae out for 2000 rows - just to make sure you wouldn't run out.  ;D

Would like to humbly submit my channel! "Hill's Workbench", split the electronics content from my main channel "HillOrStream" about three years ago but is still tiny. Each channel has over a hundred electronics related videos. Mostly audio or MCU related.

Sub'ed Hill's Workbench - Thanks, looks good! I would suggest moving electronics content to just that one.

  ?? Sub'ed  :-// It's short for subscribed..
Hope the member reads the reply and sorts content from his 3 channels.. It appears there's enough electronics video's on that channel to fit DJ's requirement. AFAIK the other channel should not be linked since it's not primarily electronics related (but other electronics video's are there too).

I will send you more channels soon!

RetroGameModz: component-level diagnosis and repair videos. some stuff I've never seen elsewhere, like broken pin repair on SMD packages, and UV illumination of leaked electrolyte.

The Well Tempered Hacker: SDR, PVM, and RNG experiments.
