If it's ok, the description of my channel (Brian Lough) is misc, but something like Arduino would probably be closer to what it was.

I think I had some live streams recording of a making a guitar pedal when I first added the channel here, I've since tidied it up to reflect my usual content

Thanks

Congratulations  :-+ :-+ :-+   You are the first one to ask me to change the info.  It has been kinda discouraging that no one has ask me before.  So you made my day  :-+

Do you want me to change General Content to Arduino?  If so what do you want under Addtional Info ?

I get Additional Info from YT "About" page.  Yours is empty.

I will make the changes later - the spreadsheet is currently under work by Brumby

Thanks

I won't treat you like a dog, Cliff ... but I will give you a pat on the back for being consistently involved in this endeavour.

Not forgetting ez24 of course.

.... which reminds me - I still have a spreadsheet to fix.   :-[

Hi, so presented for your consideration...

I'm Ido Gendel, my Youtube channel is "The White Byte" at https://www.youtube.com/user/idogendel/ and I think it's definitely a "Misc"  :) (Arduino, Maker stuff, tutorials, some MCUs, silly experiments etc.)
Currently it has ~1570 subscribers.

It used to be my channel for videos in the Hebrew language, but now it's mixed with English videos, and I'm making sure the titles and playlists reflect the video language. So, does that count?

Thanks,
Maker projects, tutorials etc. on my Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/idogendel/

I suggest adding Electronics repair school, motherboard level laptop repairs.

Is this what you were after...?   (sample only)

Looks good !  Did you sort the main list?  I will not do anything except enter data and copy data.

Thanks

I didn't change anything except for the forum code worksheet.

You should be able to add, delete, insert and sort rows in the input data without any risk to the forum code result.  (That is the reason I went with the crazy formula.)  Just don't shuffle the columns around.  (If you do want a column change, then I'll need to sort that for you.)

Do you know any?  When I go through the list I will keep this in mind and list any I find.

Thanks for your suggestion
That is the channel name (Electronics repair School)

His methods might have some people cringe though.

I'm a fairly ignorant Noob and enjoy watching his stuff. I've definitely learned from him.

I sort of understand his view ito time and price point, but man, as a paying customer, some of those repair solutions would leave me upset.

I'm sure it is not a new concept, but I saw for the first time that power was introduced to check for shorts. Previously I would thought that if I suspected a short, I would not bring power close to a board, till I somehow could find the culprit.

Now I wish I have one of those power supplies where you can limit current or where the current draw on a circuit is shown when power is introduced.

I assume you can still check the current draw using other methods, although I haven't figured out how.

The point is, his method of working and thinking has opened up my mind and that everything doesn't necessarily have to be 100% to test a circuit. It is okay to remove a capacitor or resistor or even mosfets or short something in certain circumstances.

The trick is probably to know when you can take those chances.

:) I was actually a bit reluctant to ask as I thought I was being a bit dickish!

Arduino would be good, additional info maybe: Videos on projects and libraries, mainly with ESP8266

(not sure if that's too long)

Thanks!

I'll update my channel info too, thanks for letting me know it's blank!

How about Robrenz on the forum, pretty good series of machining videos with some really good precision probes as well.

Agree, apparently members now bypass the 10 video requirement. We could just link to that one video right now and encourage him to make a playlist with that and anything else he might create...?

He was already on the list.  From now on I am not going to add a members name unless they ask me to add them.
Thanks

List updated and posted.

Roger EEVblog user "baltersice" (Marco Reps) channel now seems to be deleted from our YouTubers list.
https://www.eevblog.com/forum/other-blog-specific/a/msg1352598/#msg1352598
FWIW, his channel now ranks quite high at 35,059 subscribers.

I wonder if some of you might be interested in my YouTube channel?
I do mainly repairs on old audio gear and dabble in the odd vintage test equipment restoration too.
It might be a bit amateurish  compared with many, but some might find it entertaining.

You were on the original list. Your channel has interesting content, been watching for quite a while now.

Make some playlists and add them to your channel, their script bots will discover your channel and automatically mark you for approval in the new list.

Just kidding, they do all this manually, but it's really fun seeing how complicated a list can get. I was not kidding about making playlists, you need to do that. ;D
