Create a micro radar detector for when that fiberglass sided van shows up outside your house.

This is in reference to an amp hour episode in which they talk about spy gadgets that are powered via radar.

I am a UK DTI certified Radar engineer and have not seen them used against peoples houses !

If this is a serious question by the OP...... Please relax and get on with your normal life. Unless you are a potential threat to the national security of the host country, you are of no interest. Please remember that such organisations have finite staff resources and budgets, they focus their attention where it is needed.

Mind you my neighbours may need a Radar detector.... I have at least five Raytheon small boat RADAR sets in my shed awaiting my attention. I also have a lovely open scanner long Range RADAR that I must get around to firing up    I used to be a RADAR specialist but that was some time ago, so I will refresh my brain cells on the little Raytheon units 

I also understand the technology that the OP appears to fear. My honest comment. Please stop concerning yourself about this technology, unless you are one of the 'bad guys'. If you are a 'bad guy', be affraid, very affraid

The op is not worried about this technology just curious..  would be interesting to have a detector to see how prevalent those types of signals are found around a city.  Maybe even cooler would be some sort of detector that could tell you what types of signals are flying around and you could then choose what type you want to detect.
