« on: October 26, 2010, 01:24:25 am »
I'm back from my my US trip, so all should get back to normal now.
Probably missed hundreds of forum messages, so if there is anything important I need to know, please point me to it.

I'm back too, I've been in for an operation over the weekend, I now have a very uncharacteristic stiff upper lip which hopefully will be more flexible when the stitches come out the day after tomorrow.

Holy crap, Simon.
Hope you're doing well.

(Let me guess ... you told someone that their DMM was shit, and they smacked you in the face with it.  :) )

Well I could tell you that and you'd believe me looking at the state my lip is in  ;D.

I was born with a hair lip and cleft pallet and went in for the final reconstruction of my lip (which has always looked like I had an accident or got in a fight) and some work on my nose airway so that I can breath more easily.
well gets me 4 days off work and is a bit uncomfortable having a stiffer "upper lip" than I'm used to but I'm sure I'll mend soon, at the moment I'm eating far less than i normally do as it's so uncomfortable but stitches are coming out on Thursday so hopefully improving from then on.
