Blog suggestion - how multimeters work
« on: November 26, 2012, 10:27:29 pm »
Hi Dave. I think it would be a nice idea if you explained how current, voltage, resistance, capacitance, and inductance meters work. What's the principle behind them? You explained some of this in your power supply series, where there was the current shunt and the two op-amps, but what about resistance, capacitance and inductance? How do we measure them digitally? How about other measurements? Frequency? I dunno.
