STM32CubeIDE in Chromebook
« on: November 01, 2021, 06:33:23 pm »
Has anybody had any luck running STM32CubeIDE in a Linux VM on Chromebook?  I'm stuck using Chromebook due to security polices at work and the CubeIDE has been pretty terrible so far with rendering and font issues.

It's already heavy and slow in a native OS, adding a VM on top would make it even slower.
Does Virtual Box work under Chrome OS? In that case, just try downloading an Ubuntu vdi and installing CubeMX on it.
CubeIDE is Eclipse-based, there're some tutorials to install it on Chrome os.
