Hi all,
I've just started exploring the Pico/RP2040 as a platform, so I may have missed something obvious, but...
Decided to try it with Arduino, so I hooked up the the Arduino IDE using Earle Philower's Pico/RP2040 package. I build a picoprobe so I could do proper debugging. It hits breakpoints, I can inspect variables, memory etc. So far so good.
The Picoprobe can also probe physical UART RX/TX on two separate pins, which can be piped directly into a terminal or Arduino's Serial Monitor. However, I'd rather like to stream the "virtual" serial-over-USB channel that's available when connecting a pico direcly over USB (i.e. arduino's Serial, rather than Serial1 or Serial2).
Can that be done through the picoprobe at all? I can't figure it out, and the documentation is a bit sparse. Or would I have to connect the guest pico board to both the picoprobe (for SWD) and USB (for "serial") simultaneously?
