PIC32MK embedded systems core re-programmable by web-page!
« on: July 16, 2024, 09:58:52 pm »
I've been working on this for about a year and finally have it done.

It's pretty cool -- by day it masquerades as a USB oscilloscope (see the other post), but by night it is a fully re-programmable embedded system core that you can re-program and interactively debug with nothing more than a web-page in a web browser!

It uses WebUSB (and/or Web Serial) which expose connectivity to USB devices directly into a Chromium-based web browser running on a computer, tablet, or even phone!

It is open source with a $13 BoM (and you can buy it from Elecrow for $18).

Build instructions are here: https://hackaday.io/project/192598-flea-scope-usb-oscilloscope-18-18-msps-webusb
User's Guide is here: https://rtestardi.github.io/usbte/flea-scope.pdf

Below is an example of logging in with a web-page and reprogramming a simple hello-world blinking led on pin e2!
