Chip markings on an ST chip that I recently bought
«

I'm beginning a project with BLDC motors and I bought the STSPIN32F0A chip from
element14
. The chips that were delivered (shown below) show the part # as STSPIN32F0 without the "A" at the end. Both these chips, while being BLDC motor drivers, have different pinouts. Did element14 cock up the order here? I couldn't find any information on the chip markings and ST support is non-responsive as usual. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If you compare images of the STEVAL-SPIN3201 vs. STEVAL-SPIN3202 evaluation boards you'll see the STSPIN32F0A has an "A" next to the circled "e3". The STSPIN32F0 on the STEVAL-SPIN3201 don't have this. I'd wager that is the code you're looking for.

Thank you. This helps! I finally ordered a bunch of the F0A from different vendors and they all have the same markings.
