Wish they could supply a datasheet.  You would think they have a very good idea what they are going to supply at this point.

I'll bet they're just Artix parts that failed GTP transceiver validation.

I'd say we are still at least a year out before engineering samples go to top customers. General availability probably 6-12months after that.
Luckily Xilinx pushes out chips faster than Altera (just watch for the errata)

The early Artix data sheets showed many small devices which were dropped well before release, the final product lineup is up in the air.
