What is it? what does it do ? why should i install a random bin file in my disco board?

I would set Debug protection to 2 and then ask ST for money for the sudden boost in sales  :-DD

Hardly so. ST sold hundreds of these last year to folks who unsoldered the mcu and just threw away the rest. Guess why the 2pcs limit at Mouser...

I did! Pressing the touchscreen gives a star where you press it, pushing the user button gives a star at a random place ;-)
