In case your registration was successful, you should have received an email today. In case you haven't received an email, I assume your registration was not successful for whatever reason. In this case, please register by sending an email to Metrology@Hahn-Schickard.de and let me know who you are and if you will join in person or want to access the event remotely. Thanks.

Hello,

is there by any chance someone staying in Stuttgart the night 16 to 17
and passes by the Hauptbahnhof/Main-station on their way to the meeting?
I would highly appreciate a lift from the Hauptbahnhof to Vaihingen (MM24).

Best regards

Back in the Lab

It was a wonderful event, and a great pleasure, to see all of you, exchanging stories and references!

Thanks especially to Dr. André, for the organisation and for the hospitality.

The instruments are safely back in the cool basement lab (23.4°C, 80%rH), everything set up for consistency check later in the night.

Happy measuring and low uncertainty to everybody

Frank

1. I hope everyone and everything made it safely back home.
2. A power cord marked Fluke 731B is looking for its owner.
3. A selfmade 4-terminal copper short from copper nails? and a sheet of copper soldered together is looking for its owner.

Thanks also from my side, thanks for the presentations yesterday and the years before, thanks to all contributors and attendees. It was a pleasure.  :-+

Finally, I wonder if anyone spotted the easter-egg hidden on one of my slides?  :-//

Apologies for not joining in. I missed the event as I got dragged into stuff outside of the house and by the time I was back it was a little too late to log in.

On a side note, I see @Dr. Frank has started to get serious about traceability...a Toblerone reference standard.

Great discovery, mendip .. that's a present from a very nice co-participant, so we did not only exchange reference standards ..

A pity that you did not only miss the meeting, but also all these kind people ..

Sorry to say, that I could not participate in this year's MM, because I had a log planned event on my own.

From what I have heard, you had a great gathering, great people and great instrumentation.
Thanks to Dr. André for organizing this again.

Thanks to Dr. André and all lecturers and participants for this highlight.

Just found something from the PTB: https://www.ptb.de/cms/presseaktuelles/veranstaltungen/quantum-2025.html
citation of the last paragraph:

The open day, which is popular far beyond the region, will take place on September 13, 2025 on the PTB site in Braunschweig. Here, scientists will open the doors to their laboratories and offer insights into cutting-edge quantum technology research - from ion traps for atomic clocks and quantum computers to quantum sensors for medicine. :-+

I was able to attend virtually for a portion of it.  Here, it was 1:00 am so I was a bit groggy, but just wanted to thank all those incredibly intelligent people that put it together!  Super smart people and all ultra-kind!
