Remote Heather (Ethernet)
« on: June 05, 2020, 01:14:27 pm »
Just a tip ....

I've been using these Nport 5410 for Ether->Serial comms   (RS-232 +/- 12v levels)
https://www.ebay.com/itm/MOXA-Serial-Device-Server-Nport-5410-RS-232/174235845514

Works excellent with lots of stuff , including Lady Heather (GPSDO sw) , just set 10ms timeout on the channel.
Point heather to the ip addy:400x   - where x is the channel (1..4)

From my heather.cfg
-ip=192.168.xxx.yyyy:4001

They're industrial , and accept wide dc psu voltage ... 9..24v i think  (check)

Edit: The older DE-304 works too  (no https , only http mgmt. if)
