New Oscilloquartz 8600-B unboxing
« on: September 27, 2020, 08:13:31 pm »
Some unboxing pics of a new oscillator I acquired.  I'm not so sure about the connector that came with it?  I think I may want to redo the connector?  What do you think?

I'd like to capture the warm up stats over GPIB but there's a lot variables... still thinking that through since I probably won't turn it off very often.

Would you really wire it this way as in the connector pics?  It looks like the grounds are connected together... ok I could see that.  Then it looks like 4, 5 and 9 may be all connected together.  This would be just tying the two pot connections CW, CCW, and VC Input together.  I'm going to tone those pins out on the connector so I can see for sure because this is how the BVA was wired up before.

Thanks,

Bill
