Congratulations Dr.Diesel to your new toy.

I just talked to a German distributor of the 3458A and they said they will have plenty of meters left for the next two years to sell.
They are still awaiting a shipment from Keysight in this month.

There are 3 kinds of people in this world, those who can count and those who can not.

Well technically speaking ROHS apply to the items sold by the producer ... if some reseller has it on the shelf this doesn't apply.

Bummer, looks like gpib is busted on mainline kernels and not just the rpi stuff, dangit.

The Agilent is working 100% in my Linux Mint 17.3  x64 - (Should be same kernel as on Ubuntu 14.04)

And it's working on my Raspi v1 , with Noobs 1.41 , updated to the raspbian, org kernel  (that won't work on a Raspi v3)
