Fluke 335A DC Voltage Standard
« on: December 12, 2023, 12:14:30 am »
I have recently acquired a Fluke 335A DC Voltage Standard, partly to relive my days as an electrical standards engineer in the 1990s

It's in quite good condition, the obvious problem being some cooked resistors in the + 35V supply on the current limiter PCB, and most of the plastic insulating "mushrooms" on the lower inner cover being either broken or missing.

I've read the threads on here and it looks as if I will need to replace some of, if not most of the electrolytics.

Reading through the service manual it recommends using "Circuit Coat" made by Furane plastic Inc to make good any soldering work on the PCBs.

If anyone has any recommendations for an equivalent coating, and a suitable solvent for cleaning the PCBs also a source or suitable substitutes for the inner cover insulators I'd be very grateful.

    Regards
