High temp contact grease
« on: June 14, 2024, 04:37:14 pm »
My pid oven got a thermocouple disconnect error. I have a ceramic thermocouple adapter in the oven to connnect a probe to the cable. When I replugged it, the error went away.

Is there a high temp contact grease I can use to improve this connection?

I need the adapter because I use a heavy solid wire to route it and a thin stranded probe to measure (I.e. tape to pcb

lol, the venus motor document from the other venus thread might be the best source of information on this. they actually tested alot of grease with pictures to show you how it ends up.
