SOT23 marked "WT7"
« on: July 30, 2024, 11:59:20 am »
Hi
I have a SOT23 marked "WT7", and then "54"  written in smaller letters and
at right angle to the "WT7" text.
It should be a BZX84-C36, but doesnt seem to correspond?

How does it not seem to correspond?

The datasheet you linked clearly says "%T7" is indeed a BZX84-C36!

The "%" is a placeholder for the country of manufacture - and "W" is China.
Look at an older NXP (rather than Nexperia) datasheet to see the missing detail regarding the "%" or "*" placeholders.
e.g. https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/302/BZX84_SERIES-114620.pdf

Someone should get a good kick for leaving this info off the newer datasheets, but it took me only 30 seconds to find this info.

It is definitely a BZX84-C36.
