ALl machines you are going to need to write some sort of conversion  to and from your file format, database etc.
I wrote a system to write the Hanwha- Samsung machine files directly. Saves alot of time (instead of standing at the GUI telling it where stuff is... what feeder it is on and where is in my SQL db and updates machine files directly).

Ask on smtnet.  There's lot of people there who have bought new mainstream machines. There's very few here. The erp integration can be very useful,  for my machines CAMx and secs gem is an license extra that lets you remote control the machine easily and gives you events for every part use,  mis pick etc.  I have mine set up to consume parts from my erp so it's easy to reorder. Newer machines also have a lot of validation options so you can make sure you've loaded the right reel onto the right feeder and put it in the right place.
