I'm working on a prosumer AV product design -- actually something already in production, but doing some design revisions. I'd like to make assembly a bit easier by giving the assembly techs some kind of tape that can be used to hold some fan and antenna wires in place and out of the way. Having taken apart various consumer electronics before, I've seen some sort of flexible, fabric-backed tape used for this purpose -- often for things like antenna leads in laptops and such -- but I have no idea what kind of tape it is. Something like Kapton would probably work, but it seems like a fabric-backed tape might offer more flexibility and easier installation. I have to imagine 3M's giant product list has something specifically for this, but I haven't found it.... Anyone know what kind of tape I'm talking about, or have a suggestion on something that might work? Thanks!
