Yamaha YVL88ii give away
« on: February 24, 2023, 03:51:32 am »
Who ever wants it come and get it
Yamaha YVL88ii with very low hours, working.  good option if you are tired of chinese software.
Before I had it, Australia CM had it. Built 2002. full manuals and tech manual, lots of doco. easy to get spares out of Asia for.
I have a few spares for it, has full load of nozzles, some new.
No feeders (they're CL) , i have already moved them.
-glen (I bought a new Samsung Hanwha) .
Canberra ACT.
You'll need a truck that can haul 1600kg , and probably at least a 3t forklift to lift it in, or a telehandler (which  the hire place is nearly next door) , as most tail lifters wont lift this much.
YVL88ii is a universal mounter, can mount.,. anything , 0402s are easy. 50mm long connectors, easy.  . two wide spaced heads, 6000 cph.

My pickup truck could haul that on a trailer, but it doesn't float very well.  ;D

Hmm... tempting... and one of my clients is in the freight/shipping industry with a branch in Canberra...

I already have two hand-me-down PnPs, so why not a third?  Mainly a lack of space...  :-DD

I hope that whoever adopts it shares lots of photos and/or videos of their adventure.

Might nicely serve as a subject of somebody's teardown tuesday video.

Maybe find it in the trash room on April 1?

I would say no, although you never know. The exercise to relocate such heavy item if you do not have already the machinery to do it is quite high (~$1-3k) + I think he may not even have the space for it?

I agree that it is quite unlikely that Dave would adopt this machine. But it would be pretty neat to watch if he did. Even if he could fit it into the bunker, would he be able to power it in there?

There should be lots of YG and YV machines being given away around the place.... and they use low cost CL feeders reliably.....

the Asian machines from some of the used market vendors are well refurbished and known to work. If getting a 'give away' machine  it might work, or might just need an air solenoid ....
