Hi. Recently I've ordered 3 low resolution 296x128 (~40,000 pixels) e-paper displays from China. Unfortunately every single one of them had faulty pixels whether it be specific pixels that lag behind or pixels that are just simply stuck. Is this generally normal or common? I have a 9 year old Kindle touch that has a much higher resolution display with no faulty pixels, so it doesn't seem reasonable for something at much lower resolution to have faulty pixels. I talked with the manufacturer and they said up to 5 faulty pixels are within spec (the QC does say that is the case). Any thoughts?

I had a product which used the Pervasive Displays 1.44" module. We never had stuck pixels, ~20,000 units.
We never had an RMA with a display issue, over 10 years of the product's life time, and this was in a very harsh environment (45C ambient, physical abuse).
