Farnell orders placeed on sunday get picked on sunday?

Do Farnell orders placed on sunday get picked on sunday? (and delivered Monday?)

I ask for in UK, but also for any other countries who have Farnell, since its not only UK based.

Don't think so - even if it's picked, UPS probably don't collect on weekends.

They do indeed pick UK orders on Sundays, and UPS also picks them up. I recently ordered several bits over the weekend, and all arrived on Monday.

A pleasant surprise TBH.

Farnell struggle to deliver next day on a normal weekday let alone on a Sunday order. Saturday orders used to only happen if you paid extra and placed the order before Friday midday I think. Never heard of an order on a Sunday getting shipped before a Monday.

I’d put a few things in the basket during the week, places the order around 1400 on the Sunday. Stunned when I got a mail to say it was shipped. More so when it was delivered Monday. No additional charges.

I’ve had the opposite too, where an order is placed 11am and doesn’t get processed for at least a day.

It will only get worse now that element14 are apparently shipping all orders to Australia via DHL out of Farnell UK.

That would explain why they had the massive clearance/fire sale in Australia recently.
