JLC no longer able to deliver to PO Box (NZ)
« on: May 02, 2023, 10:20:02 am »
Heads up for fellow Kiwis who use a PO Box.

JLC's " global standard direct line shipping" handled by Yun Express have, after manufacturing and assembling and packing and being collected by the carrier, refused to handle the parcel because it's going to my PO Box and so it has now been sitting in some Yun Express facility going nowhere.

It's never been a problem before, they were always passed off to NZ Post.

More annoying is that I didn't even see the single email from JLC until after a week when I was wondering why the tracking hadn't moved and went digging through emails.

So now I have to give them my home address, where if I'm lucky I'll get a card instead of the delivery, if I'm unlucky they'll biff it over the gate or hand it to some rando kid who happened to be walking past as they have before.

Harumph.

Yeah, it's frustrating when international carriers refuse to process parcels to a PO box address when their local delivery partner is capable of PO box deliveries.  I've struck this with DHL a few times.

Could you please give me your JLCPCB customer number for checking?
