Can transformer bobbin be trimmed?
« on: April 13, 2023, 07:49:49 pm »
Hi,
Can the SMD bobbins of this EFD20 core have the "sticky out bits" trimmed off.?..(the bits that go outside the 23.7mm length)?
Or are they needed to solder the wire ends to?

Curious, they don't dimension them.  But those are most likely the pin tails, yes.  You could cut off the unused ones, but that's not much help.
