My T937M "cash register style" oven is proving to be a weakpoint - I know you all have your shocked face on! It works great for small stuff, but I have an opportunity for some decent volume larger boards that are all LEDs so I need accurate, consistent heat over a larger area than I can get anywhere near with this machine.
I'm considering a T8L (or maybe the slightly smaller IN6) conveyor-style reflow oven from Neoden. Anyone have any experience with these or something similar? In a theoretical scenario where I assemble/reflow these myself, I'd probably be looking to run something on the order of 50 panels a day, once a week through with a size of 500mm x 240mm with zillions of low/medium-power LEDs on them. So, not too worried about preheat times and such - more about reliability and consistency so I can get nice reflow without toasting any lenses.
Appreciate any thoughts!
EDIT: Found the thread about IN6 eating elements, that doesn't sound at all interesting to me. I'm really thinking more about the T8L anyway which is why I didn't do a better search for IN6. Updated the title to be more accurate.
