ov2640 camera module code (paid work)

Hello friends

I have a job I'm looking to contract out.

Task
Write code to read the ov2640 camera module and analyze the image in raw eg RGB-565

Some more details
Prefered mico = Pic
Prefered ov2640 - micro interface = parallel  I want to use the models like "Mini OV2640 Camera Module CMOS Image Sensor Module for Arduino"
Processing required:-
Read each line and at a certain section in the H line add up the total brightness for that section and note it.
Scan all the lines and interface with another device to indicate the first line whose value is > set threshold
Note BW is all that is needed. Not sure if the ov2640 can take just BW images
