Hello All,

Looking for somebody with experience in power supply design to design a programmable high voltage flyback power supply. My company is a little short on capacity and I was wondering if anybody here who would be interested in taking up the project

Best,
Matt

Potentially interesting. Any more specifications?

So lets me ask more precisely ( IF you can say the specs biblically) :
1 what is the expected power on the output? ( and output tolerances)
2 high voltage, how high? 50 100 1000v ? + what is the desired max ripple?
3 is there a target efficiency ? (or rather how much can be dissipated safely)
4 is it an isolated SMPS or not if yes what is the rating?
5 design soft used is there any restriction? ( as in is it mandatory to be in X soft?)
6 is it a distinct point output value or is it a range? ( and in you want 9v 12v 15v 20V OR you want every value between 9 and 20V with x granularity?)
7 space constraints?( LxWxH ) what about budget per unit?

More details needed. HV can be 100 V or 1 MV. Generally interesting.

well i also generally interested
here are a few more questions for making the spec more clear:
8 what is the programed input data line? ( analogue, CAN, I2C, Ethernet, WIFI  etc) also is it isolated or not?
9 is there a possibility/ the option of semi custom components? ( like a transformer made on order) ?
10 is there a hard deadline for the end of the project?
11 when it comes testing and making the prototype how will it go?
12 What regulations does it need to conform to ? like UL standard etc
13 what is the input? ( AC or DC)
