Takes too long to find out. I can speedread at least 10* faster than people can speak. The time taken to load and skip thorugh a video and adverts is intolerable for "wonder if there's anythimg interesting".

Unless you convert the original gas air cooled radial engine to a turbine it will never get off the ground.

Depends on the source; both are the real deal, checked.

Thanks but the physical size is critical; 11mm x 11mm is non-negotiable, and though I might be able to fit thicker than 2.5mm, not by much. More than 5mm would be definitely nope.

I'd love to find one of those K1420 valve voltmeters he has, it would make a nice compliment to this meter.

Got to say I'm very disappointed with this channel, the third video I watched.

Can you redesign so the pot is part of a divider network, easing the need for that absolute value and stability?

Today's Yard Sale Find (on my way to The Thrift):

Diamond Tools Tile Nippers LNIB and Wiss 7" + 10" tin snips. 4 dollah all told. Also got a rather disreputable-looking but still very usable D-handle spade shovel for 2 dollah. Will probably do all the shovelry I need for the rest of my life.

Apparently Sony won't redesign the PS4 controller to make it easier to mod them with superior parts. Said something about not letting people make their equipment more durable as it'll dent their revenue stream...



I'll just keep dosing mine with WD40 every few months.

And the idea of using something proper - instead of WD40 - so it'll be more permanent, is still rejected by you, I reckon?

I just told the guy* at work to buy a new one, after thinking this isn't worth my time to even look at.

Well we are on a discovery lesson of how much stuff didn’t have anti affinity configuration at the moment. Apparently it was an air con failure. And we’re at the start of a heat wave here so might be interesting over the next week or so

Well the intermittent display fault has returned to my HP 54615B, trouble is after the second power up, the Hsync/Cal signals don't stay borked for long enough, to see if they are failing at the same time as the display, the signals are correct before the CRT fully warms up and the picture appears. 

Hsync & cal signals measured, before they quickly corrected themselves to 19.72kHz (Hsync) & 1.2kHz (probe cal).


I can't find the "any" key.

Haha, I was talking about title level, even I don't watch every video, only those that draw my initial attention, if it doesn't appeal to me, it doesn't get played, and then, if it doesn't grab my attention in the first few seconds, it gets rejected, life is too short to waste it watching something that may or may not be interesting, I agree.

Why fat of course, I only buy the less than 5% fat type myself.

TBH the 15% fat stuff cooks better. You can drain off the excess if you don't want it. Not that I eat it any more anyway.

What are these things you call "adverts?" Just get your self an adblocker for the computer and you save that time back.
