Codeine happened. Completely zonked out so just lay there listening to Germans and Spaniards complaining about the weather
Fortunately feels better today a bit. Purple bits have shrunk.
It's much much much more fun making stuff than it is buying it to be honest. May build a frequency counter next, just because I have the bits lying around.
Codeine and cider? Glad that the purple bits have shrunk, that always helps, my foot is getting better as well now but yesterday I went and stubbed my little toe and the next one into the step ladder in my garage, the air suddenly turned blue for a moment

I spotted a AV receiver (not working) fairly close to me on the bay so I grabbed it for a £5 been working on it for a day and a bit, got it working now so it will go back on the bay when they have another cheap listing day as I have nowhere for it or any speakers to handle 100W. I just wanted something to use my 210 on

. This thing is made in a crazy manner, it has a massive heatsink inside the case with no fewer than 13 transistors bolted to it

they used to whack the heatsinks on the back in free air which I'd have thought was better then inside especially if you then stack a CD player on top blocking the airflow
