Disappearing for a bit. Not sure how long. May post but much less frequently. Need to throw everything I have into a business venture. Dropping this here in case anyone thinks I’ve been killed by an HT circuit, a falling scope or an angry SWMBO ... fear not I shall return in force shortly

(And no I’m not sinning by selling any more gear  )

Naaahhh... I've seen this pattern before.  I think he got "Penis Fingers" slammed in a trunklid and needs time to heal...

I'll bet he's on a flight right now to JFK with a connecting flight to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Be on the lookout for a crazed Englishman driving on the wrong side of the road.

Yep, you could be right about that too, knowing his love for Tek gear, one thing we do know for sure is that he'll need some thing a little bigger than his little Fiat to get that lot home, more like a fleet of artic lorries, better hope his navigation has improved

If you'd known, then you'd probably no longer have a floor left in your house. Also, depending on your soil conditions, it could've led to the spontaneous creation of a basement.

Hmm, maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing. Perhaps more stable temp in a basement lab (assuming moisture isn't an issue).

Yeah, and I'd be broke from shipping things home, too.  Eventually I want to get a bunch of stuff set up in the basement, but for now it's too full.  Wish it was bigger, too.  Split level house, so only half is 'basement', and half is crawl space.  And the revised garage layout took half of the half that was basement.

Yep, with those wheels he'd be able to get a double layer in, no sweat 

Unlike the time I took a truckload of transformers from Chelmsford to Sheffield, only 500VA ones, a single layer on the floor in a 3 ton box van, I had 2 front tyres blowout on me on the M1, one after the other, due to having too much weight on the front wheels. I had move hundreds of the things and put a double layer over the back wheels  in order prevent further blowouts. Then I had to drive it like I had a load of eggs in the back to prevent them all from sliding forwards under braking and having further blowouts. That was the slowest trip of my life that was, made up for it on the return trip, I was empty and I made that truck fly.

Contrary to popular belief, no SWMBO didn't murder me and is now sitting here wearing my hollowed out skin posting on here (or was that mixed with a dream I had ). Nor did I get my penis fingers trapped in something and have to rest up 

What is happening is that I sold something which doesn't exist yet to someone on the basis that I deliver it on a risky as fuck deadline. Ergo 18 hours a day programming and consumption of red bull. Got a break today while I wait for a couple of servers to arrive so dropping a quick post in here. Getting a bit old this now though - life is usually slow and methodical now but this is going back to circa 2000 startup mode ... result is likely to mean I can devote many more hours to TEA so this has a positive trade off
