Solartron 7075 Digital Voltmeter GPIB Commands
« on: November 21, 2019, 10:15:27 pm »
Hi all,
I have successfully pushed the Solartron 7075 into the 21st century by adding a GPIP to USB adapter.
The data evaluation of the actual measured values works excellent. (++read command on the AR488 GPIB Interface)
Unfortunately I didn't find any information in the documentation about the GPIB commands, for example to change the integration time via GPIB.

Does anyone has any further information about that?

Link to the DMM manual: https://elektrotanya.com/solartron_schlumberger_7075_sm.pdf/download.html

I didn`t found any information about the GP-IB Interface Unit 70755.
The only information I got so far is the GPIB address, which was handwritten on the Interface Unit: 22

Hello,

in der Not fressen Fliegen den Teufel.

Perhaps the GPIB commands from other Solartron DMM can help you.

"http://w.ko4bb.com/getsimple/index.php?id=manuals&dir=06_Misc_Test_Equipment/Solartron/Solartron_7150"

The "Solartron_7150_Plus_6.5_Digit_Multimeter_Operator_Manual.pdf" has GPIB commands for the 7150plus.

As example try R0 or R1 or R2 to select the range.

Best regards

Thank you for the new starting point, unfortunately the commands differ from each other.

A little trial and error research resulted in the following command sets: (it seems that it doesn't depend on the letter, but on the position of the numbers)

For local Readings

++addr 22
++auto 3
++read

To execute remote Commands
++auto 1

Single Sample
MODE SET 2

Repetition Sample
MODE SET 3

MODE 1

GET MODE REMOTE
MODE 2

20ms:
