Small pin probe < 20 mils

At times I need to connect a probe to small through-hole test points that are in the 0.020-0.025" range. Typically low frequency.
The commonly available jumpers I use have round pins of 0.025" diameter
These Mill-Max sockets make for a convenient way to adapt the 0.025" test probe to a 0.020" diameter, you can simply snap them on or off as required ->

I'm looking for a slightly smaller version, under 0.020" pin diameter, any suggestions?

I use old probe station needles hooked up to a regular probe with a screw terminal. Works great, and you can even slide the tip underneath QFNs.

In the past, I've just gone with Kynar wire soldered in place. Takes only a few moments to put on if you have the solder station near you, very easy/clean to undo, and a more durable connection than most clips or points.

For your own boards or general usage ?
The Tek grabber you're using already is probably the best without needing to spend $$$ to get something better.
For your own designs use some SMD test points and put a footprint onto a trace and define both pads to the same net to avoid any DRC errors. That also allows you to pull them out once testing is done and reuse them.
In 0805 size ordinary scope probe hooks can easily be used for connections.
