Replacement kickstand for Agilent Multimeter?
« on: December 21, 2021, 05:54:51 pm »
Does anyone know where I could find a replacement kickstand for an Agilent U1252A multimeter?
Keysight part # is U1251-64404.

Thanks!

I purchased mine directly from Keysight.  My recommendation: buy 3.  A month after I replace the tilting bale on my U1252B, the one on my U1252A broke.

You may need to set up a commercial account to purchase them.

Thanks @colorado.rob I started with Keysight and they said they didn't have any and that the part was obsolete; the part number for the U1252A is U1251-64404 (note: the last digit is different from the one you mentioned which is for the 'B' model).  However, they look identical (although it's hard to tell precisely given the angle of the photo).  I'll see if I can buy one and see if it fits.  Even for the one you mentioned, I didn't see a purchase option when logged into the Keysight website.

I can confirm that the tilting bale for the U1252B works with the U1252A.

This is going to be a problem for people with OCD though.  The plastic color is slightly darker.   :scared:

I suspect this is why there is a different model number.
