Well, I'm glad you asked for that.
Suggestions / New features:- Screenshots do not save the reference waveforms. Screenshots should save the screen including the reference waveforms.
- I miss some functionality for advanced triggering (in order of priority):
- Trigger holdoff (https://youtu.be/ta096oBzSac?t=646).
- Delay (trigger some time after the edge condition is detected).
- Nth edge trigger (Two parameters, idle time + number of edges).
I know, I may be asking for too much with the triggering modes, but it could make this device really stand out from the competition.
Bugs / improvements (issues also present in the 1 ch version):In normal trigger mode:
After pressing stop, waveform can't be moved with cursor keys.
If new trigger condition arrives, image is updated (even in STOP!) and scrolling becomes possible.
This is only noticeable with non periodic signals, because with periodic signals the second trigger after stop happens all the time.
- After view mode, scope always goes back to run instead of remembering the last state:
After going to view mode to see some saved images, if you had a waveform stopped, you lose it when you exit from view mode, because it always puts the scope in RUN mode.
- Variable (and same) speed for all tools:
Waveform position (both directions): It has been improved over the 1ch version, It has a double speed, very comfortable to use.
For trigger level and measuring cursors: They should have the same double speed behavior as the waveform position, with the same speed levels.
In the current firmware: Trigger level: has just 1 fast speed, measuring cursors: have just 1 slow speed.
